WHAT IS THE RAPTURE:
Eschatology- the study of prophecy.
Prophecy isn't to scare you but to prepare you!
Rapture means "Caught up" I thes. 4:15-17
I cor. 15:42-44...also called the "Resurrection"
All Bodies of deceased believers and all living Christians will meet Christ in Heaven.
At end of the 7 year Tribulation period, Christ and "caught up" Christians and angels will return to earth
HOW FAST WILL THE RAPTURE HAPPEN?
I Cor. 15:51-52 Moment - "atomos" (in atomic second)
Don't take a chance on planning to "get ready for eternity". Not wise! Every prophecy in the Bible, up to the date of this writing, has been fulfilled with 100% accuracy! What makes you think the rest of the Bible's prophecies will not be fulfilled too???!!
HAVE THERE BEEN SUPERNATURAL ESCAPES BEFORE?
Enoch: Gen 5:24.."walked with God and he was not because God took him." Heb. 11:5 Gen. 6:7
God has warned people over and over again about turning from their wickedness or He will send judgment.
Noah: Gen. 7:1-24 He and his family were miraculously saved from the judgment of the flood.
Lot: Gen. 12:1 (1921 B.C.) Gen. 18:23-33...not even 10 righteous people could be found. God rescued Lot at just the last minute before Sodom and Gomorrah burned up. His wife made a deadly choice.
Elijah: He warned the people of coming judgment because Israel was embracing wickedness, turning from God, worshipping idols and committing gross sins. He was named the "fiery prophet" because some of the miracles that accompanied his warnings were supported with fire from Heaven. When God was finished with Elijah's earthly assignment, he "went up by a whirlwind into heaven" (2 Kings 2:11). HE DIDN'T DIE!
