devotions for week of March 22, 2010...Regarding Him with Honor

Had a wonderful day last Saturday!   About 25 of us walked the cross for an hour and a half down Dixie Highway, praying for our city and its citizens each step of the way.  We thoroughly enjoyed our meal around the Hibatchi grills at Sake Blue afterwards.  Plan to join us on Saturday April 17 from 6:00- 8:00 pm at cliftons Pizza on Frankfort Ave. for great food, fellowship, singing...etc.  Its our annual "thunder over Louisville" spot and you are welcomed to jump in cars afterwards to view Thunder.

There is a perfect balance in God's transcendence and His immanence.  He is to be reverenced as Royalty but can be known personally.

God is characterized by his intolerance of rebellion and by His wrath, justice, mercy and grace. Though He is incredibly holy and all-powerful, He chooses to seek a relationship with us.

The more clearly God comes into view, the more fully humbled and in awe of Him you should grow.  Fearing God appropriately will foster a beautiful, vibrant relationship between your heart and His and that is what this journey is all about.

See you soon,
Becky
