Therefore, we will continue with our group discussion at Billtown for this week only....meeting in the choir room upstairs above the platform (use stairs near the prayer chapel in the back).

Bait of Satan study for June 11:
The Unforgiving Servant
read pages 126-132 and pages 232-233
Matt. 18:21-22 "Then Peter came to Him and said, 'Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?' Jesus said to him, 'I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."
God's unlimited forgiveness is the basis for the way we are to forgive others.
What is the main point of the parable in our scripture reading?___________
What is God saying to you through this parable?________________
Try comparing the offenses we hold against each other with the offenses against God. We can release others unconditionally if we realize that Jesus delivered us from eternal death and torment.
Rank these offenses that are the most difficult (1) to the least difficult(7) for you to forgive:
_____Gossip against me
_____Someone physically or emotionally abusing me
_____Someone physically or emotionally abusing someone I love
_____Someone lying to me
_____someone stealing from me
_____someone manipulating me
_____ Other offenses important to you
A person who cannot forgive has forgotten how great a debt God has forgiven them.
Let's pray together:
"God, help me to remove the blockage in my heart that has been caused by unforgiveness. I specifically pray now the the individuals whose offenses caused this blockage. AMEN"
God desires that we get past this and move on to bigger and better things in Him. Let's just decide to let it go and let God bless their lives. We can do this together.
Praying for you,
Becky
