What is significant about the European Union?

Presently consists of 27 countries who have joined together for strength, security and economic gain. This is the first time these countries have been in unity since the old Roman Empire fell.

Discuss ancient Babylonian king's strange dream in 600B.C.  Daniel's interpretation in Daniel 2.

Rome is rising again and getting stronger every day.....the Eurodollar.

Antichrist ..."Beast" will come out of this union.

After 3 1/2 years into the Tribulation, the satan-possessed Antichrist and the leader of the EU will turn on Israel and cause great fear, bloodshed and destruction (Dan. 7-9; Rev. 13)

IRAQ is the site of the Tower of Babel and occupies the same land as the biblical Babylon.  It was called UR and Abraham lived there before leaving for the Promised Land.  The first established city in the world was Babel.  Nimrod, a very wicked man, established the city where occult practices were born and flourished.

Read Gen. 11:9 ...where the people became so depraved and arrogant that God destroyed their tower and scattered them.

 

In 586 B.C. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came against Judah, destroyed the Holy City and carried most of her people away as slaves to Babylon along with many temple treasures....after 70 years they returned home.

 

Terrible judgment is pronounced on Babylon in the Tribulation...it will be destroyed in ONE HOUR! Rev. 18:8

Note:  The EU has built a replica of the Tower of Babel in Strasburg, France..."Many tongues, one voice".

 

IRAN is the modern name for ancient Persia.  Ezek. 38:1-5.  Russia and Iran will be driving forces in a coalition that will come against Israel to destroy her in the last days.. However, God will destroy them on the mountains surrounding Israel!

WWI:  Balfour Declaration...Israel declared the right to have a homeland again (2000 years after dispersion around the world)

WWII:  Israel became a nation again on May 14, 1948

WWIII:  (Ez. 38-39...a forerunner to WWIII)-Armageddon.

On Feb. 11, 2010, Iran declared itself to be a nuclear state.  Read Matt. 25: 31-46 for God's promise for the nations who come against Israel.

 

ISLAM was founded by Muhammad in 622 A.D.  He claimed to be a descendant of Ishmael (son of Abraham and Hagar).  Militant Muslims have declared a holy war (Jihad) against Jews and Christians whom they portray to be "apes and pigs."  Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God.  It is estimated that there may be 3-6 million Muslims in the USA. Islam considers the USA to be the "big satan" and Israel to be "little satan."  Islam believes in "conquest by the sword."  Muhammad taught that it is the will of Allah that Islam should rule the world. It will be predominantly Muslims who will come against Israel in the last days. Ez. 39:4  After this battle,   it will take seven months to bury the dead, and Israel will use discarded weapons for fuel the next seven years (Ez. 39:9-12).  Many Muslims will still be left in Europe and the rest of the world after this battle since this is NOT Armageddon.  It is believed that this battle will occur close to the beginning of the Tribulation. At the beginning of the 7 years, the European Union, led by the Antichrist, will make a move to gain control of Israel setting the stage for the last 7 years of this age....the Tribulation.

 

NOTE THAT ALL ARABS ARE NOT MUSLIMS AND ALL MUSLIMS ARE NOT ARABS.  Arabs are a race of people. Islam is a religion.  

Allah is said to be unknowable, distant and alone.

Jesus Christ invites us to have a personal relationship with Him..."Behold, I stand...." Rev. 3:20

What will happen to the USA?

The Bible is not specific as to what will happen to the USA. However, these are the things we are instructed to do:

1.  Turn back to God 2 Chron. 7:14

2.  Be a Friend to Israel Psl. 122:6

3.  continue spreading the Gospel around the world. Gal. 6:7 (USA responsible for sending 85% of Gospel around the world)

Warning to the church in USA:

Since so many Christian believers live in the USA, our country could be so weakened and confused after the Rapture that it could join the European Union thus allying itself with the Antichrist.  A country can become so arrogant and believe it is a Super Power that grave judgment can come. (Look at Israel's history of arrogance, judgment, and repentance)  Joel 2:12-14

George Washington said:  "It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and Bible."

Pray prayer for our country Page 61.

 

What about Israel?

It is said that Israel is God's time clock for the world.  Matt. 24:32-34

fig tree represents Israel in the Bible.

Israel was not a nation for 2,534 years...until 1948.  Jesus said this is the generation that would see end-time events take place.

Is. 62:1, 6.  Gen. 12:3

The Jews have given us: the sacred scriptures, the prophets, the patriarchs, Mary/Joseph/Jesus Christ, the disciples.....

Jesus and His family were Jews, the apostles were Jews and the first Church were mostly Jewish.  Jews are not "Christ haters" and should not be persecuted.  Israel is beloved by the Father and in everlasting covenant with Him (Gen. 17:17) even though some Jewish people and leaders wanted to see Christ killed when He walked this earth.

Until the second coming of Christ, all departed believers will be with Christ in Heaven. 

Israel will be our home forever after all prophetic events take place.  This planet will never be destroyed again because Jesus will come back in His glory and restore the earth to its original glorious state (Rev. 21)

The Last Great War:

It is almost unbelievable to think that there will still be many on the earth who have rebellious hearts and desire to be free from Christ's rule in the prosperous, peaceful Millennium.  Rev. 20:7-10 tells of a short season when the Deceiver will be loosed at the end of the 1,000 years again.  He and the ones who rebel will surround Jerusalem to attempt to defeat Christ one last time.  At this time, God the Father will call down  fire from Heaven and destroy everyone who dares to come against Christ!  FINALLY SATAN WILL BE THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE TO JOIN THE ANTICHRIST AND FALSE PROPHET AND BE BOUND THERE FOREVER AND EVER!

                             ******THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER WAR !!!!!! ***********

 

The Great White Throne Judgment:

This is the Judgment for all people who rejected Christ as Lord and Savior.

All unbelievers will be resurrected from the seas and ashes of the earth to stand before Christ.  The power, prestige, rebellion and lusts of the world that were so important to them during earth life will not help them at all when they stand before God Almighty (Rev. 20:11-15)

The Book of Life will reveal only the names of the saved. All unsaved will go to the Lake of Fire.  There will be levels of punishment (Rom. 2:6) just like there are levels of rewards in Heaven.

Matt. 7:21 says..."...not every man that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven..."

******Only by faith in the Cross and cleansing by the Blood of Christ can our names be recorded in the Book of Life. *******

 

The New Heavens and the New Earth:

2 Peter 3:10-13:  After the final judgment of unbelievers at the end of the Millennium, God will cleanse the entire earth with fire.

Rev. 21:1-5   The Holy City of New Jerusalem:

1,500 miles square

God will dwell with men

No more crying and no more death

No more pain or sorrow

12 gates of pearl guarded by 12 majestic angels

12 foundations of the city will be made out of different beautiful gems

the walls will be jasper

the city, itself, will be as pure gold

no seas will be on the earth

a river proceeding from the throne of God that will be clear as crystal

tree of Life will be there for the healing of the nations

the Lamb's Name will be on every believer's forehead

It will always be day, illuminated from the Lord

There will be no more night

The saints will live and rule with Christ forever and ever (Is. 65:17, Rev. 21-22)

 

Outside the City:

Rev. 21:8..."but the cowardly.....burns with fire and brimstone..."

Rev. 21:15..."outside.....whoever loves and practices a lie".

Rev. 22:17..."and the Spirit and bride say, Come!  And let him who hears say, Come!  And let him who thirsts come.  Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely"

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

read pages 45-50 "Jesus is coming" by Diana Scheich

Rapture: happens before 2nd coming,  we GO UP to meet Christ, saints are delivered from wrath, can happen anytime.

2nd Coming:  happens after Rapture,  Christ COMES DOWN to earth, unsaved will experience God's wrath, all the world must hear the gospel first.

Matt. 24:14, 29-31

Zech. 14 describes that after horrible persecutions and trials, Israel will recognize and receive Jesus Christ as their Messiah.

Rev. 14:20

Jesus will take His throne in Jerusalem and Satan will be chained for 1,000 years.

 

What is the Millennium?

It is the 1,000 year period when Jesus Christ will rule and reign from Jerusalem after the second coming. Rev. 20 (refers to this 6 times)

A time of PEACE, HEALTH, and PROSPERITY..  All resurrected believers will rule with Christ and be His ambassadors on the earth.  Their resurrected bodies will be like Christ's and they will live forever. Rev. 20:6

No demonic influence or torment will be on the earth..

The people who escaped the upheavals of nature, wars, plagues and did not take the Mark of the Beast will repopulate the earth.

Read list of blessings that will be present then (page 49-50).

Christ will rule and judge the nations.  The sheep nations(those who befriended Israel) will be allowed to enjoy the Millennial Kingdom.  The goat nations (those who persecuted Israel) will be cursed and "go away into everlasting punishment" Matt. 25:31-46.

Zech. 12:10;13:1.  The curse will be removed from the earth that entered because of Adam and Eve's sin.

 

Premillennialism:  a belief that Christ will return at the end of the 7 year Tribulation.

Postmillennialism:  a belief that Christianity will eventually defeat all evil and then Christ will return to rule and reign on earth.

Amillennialists:  believe that the 1,000-year Millennium is symbolic and presently in progress.

 

.......The Millennial Reign is not the ending of the Story of the Ages.  There will still be one more great battle followed by the New Heavens and Earth.
